In the name of God Amen, I Mary Orme of Scrapton in the County of Derby, Widdow, being of perfect mind & memory praised be Almighty God. Do make & ordaine this my last Will & Testament in manner & form following. Revoking all other fformer Wills & Testaments made by me. Viz: first I bequeath my Soul into the hand of Almighty God, trusting ye Merits & Mediation of my blessed Lord & Saviour Jesus Christ to receive full pardon of all my sins, & as for & concerning my Temporall Estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me, I do hereby give & bequeath in manner & form following: Impremis, I do give & bequeath unto my Son John Orme the sum of two shillings & six pence. Item: I give & bequeath unto my son Thomas Challiner one shilling. Item, I give unto my Grandson John Challiner the sum of one shilling. Item, I give unto my daughter Mary Shefield one Shilling. Item, I give unto my Grand-children John Sheffield & Catharine Smith Each of them one shilling, a piece. Item, I bequeath unto my granddaughter Catherine Orme the bed which I lye in that is in the parrlor & all the appurtenances belonging thereto. Item: I give & bequeath unto my grandchildren Vis: John Orme, Eggerton Orme; Sarah Orme, Thos Orme & William Orme each of them twenty shillings a piece to be paid at two years and after my Decease & I do hereby nominate & appoint my son Thomas Orme to be Sole Executor of this my last Will & Testament. And I do declare this to be my last Will & Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto put my hand & Seal this 3rd Day of October Anno Domini 1730. Mary (her X mark) Orme.
